My name is Tiphanie. Tokyo Stories is the fruit of an unconventional journey, where academic rigor meets the unbridled imagination of Fantasy and Cyberpunk. A passionate self-taught artist, a woman, a mother, and an eternal lover of alternative worlds, I craft pieces that are like shields of light for modern warriors.

A Name, Several Secrets

I am often asked where the name Tokyo Stories comes from. While it doesn't define my visual aesthetic, it seals my identity as a creator:

TS: My initials, the signature of my commitment to each piece.

Tokyo: A tribute to the year I lived there. It was there that I drew my discipline and my taste for the contrast between tradition and futurism.

Stories: An anagram of my own name, but also a nod to the Genji Monogatari (The Tale of Genji). Studied during my Japanese degree, this foundational narrative taught me that every life is an epic that deserves its own adornment.

From Gothic Adolescence to Precision Armory

My aesthetic draws its roots from my lifelong passions. A former Goth and role-playing gamer, I have always seen clothing as armor. Today, in my workshop in Châteauroux, I transform this vision into technical reality:

High Technology: I use laser cutting and embossing with surgical precision (up to 300 lines/cm) to create unique textures and reliefs.

Artisanal Craftsmanship: Each piece is polished, formed, and assembled by hand. It is this precision work that makes my finger armors, masks, and gorgets as light as they are fluid, capable of following your every movement.
